Who we support
Our AP provision is designed for learners who cannot access their mainstream school environment due to SEND, SEMH, anxiety, school refusal, or a combination of complex needs.
We work with learners who are at risk of permanent exclusion, those with emerging or diagnosed EHCPs, and those in the process of awaiting a specialist school place.
Achievio is not a permanent school replacement — we work collaboratively with placing schools and local authorities, with the goal of stabilising the learner and, where appropriate, planning for next steps.
How the referral process works
Initial Enquiry
Contact us with details about the learner's needs, current provision, and what you are hoping AP can achieve. We respond within 2 working days.
Suitability Review
We review the referral against our current capacity and room profiles. We may request additional information or arrange a discussion with the SENCO.
Planning Meeting
We meet with the school, LA (if applicable), and family to agree the programme, sessions, targets, and reporting arrangements.
Placement Begins
The learner starts with a carefully managed transition period. We provide regular updates and a termly written report.
