Achievio was founded because too many learners in Wiltshire were spending months without the right provision. We built something better.
Why Achievio exists
Achievio was born out of a recognition that the SEND and Alternative Provision landscape in Wiltshire needed more specialist, responsive capacity. Too many learners were spending months without appropriate provision — not because the need wasn't clear, but because the right placement wasn't available.
Caroline Thomas founded Achievio to build something different: a centre where every learner has a tailored programme, every family feels heard, and every commissioner knows exactly what they are getting. We operate across two sites in Melksham, with four specialist education rooms — Buzzard, Merlin, Osprey, and Kestrel — each designed around specific learner profiles.

Every learner matters
We treat every child as an individual. There is no average learner, and there is no average approach. Everything we do is personalised.
Families are partners
We do not keep families at arm's length. We communicate openly, invite their knowledge, and work together with them — not just alongside them.
Collaboration, not competition
We work alongside schools and local authorities. Our goal is always the learner's best outcome, not our own interests.
Honesty and transparency
We say what we can do — and what we cannot. We do not take referrals we cannot meet well, and we do not make promises we cannot keep.

Roundpond Site
65 Roundpond, Melksham — our second site with access to outdoor and nature-based learning. On-site parking. Ideal for learners who benefit from outdoor provision.
