What does Achievio look like for your child?
We know that choosing Alternative Provision for your child is a big decision. Here's what you can expect — written plainly, without jargon.
A Day With Us
Arrival. Learners arrive at an agreed time. They are met by their key worker and welcomed into the room with a clear, calm routine. We avoid the rushed, unpredictable feeling that school corridors can create.
Morning sessions. The morning typically focuses on core academic work — English, Maths, or a subject linked to EHCP outcomes. Sessions are short, structured, and adjusted based on how the learner is feeling that day.
Break and lunch. Learners have regular breaks and a lunch period. We can accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice. Outdoor space is available at both sites.
Afternoon sessions. Afternoons often include more creative or project-based learning, PSHE, life skills, or outdoor activities — depending on the learner's programme and the room.
End of day. Learners are collected or depart at an agreed time. Key workers send a brief update to families for new placements.
